Dan is a Certified Bikram Yoga Teacher.  He feels that, for modern living, the heated Bikram Yoga sequence works to help cleanse, calm, detoxify and recenter both body and mind. A particular facet of this class that appeals to Dan is the self-immersion and focus required to successfully complete the sequence, as well as an emphasis on the breath.

Dan took his first Bikram Yoga class in 2006, and has been an addicted yogi ever since. Never did he think that he would succeed in making yoga part of his routine and his life, but karma clearly (and thankfully) had other plans! He has been fortunate to study in two schools of yoga, both at the Sivananda Ashram in the Bahamas in December of 2010, and with Bikram in Los Angeles, Fall 2012. Outside of his yoga practice and teaching, Dan a writer-reporter, copyeditor and playwright.
