ERIN KRILIVSKY

Founder; Licensed Psychotherapist, Certified Bikram Yoga Instructor, PIYO (Pilates & Yoga) Instructor

Erin Krilivsky, M.S., the founder and director of Center for Strong Mind, Strong Body at Bikram Yoga Williston. She holds a masters degree in Mental Health with a specialty in Trauma and Addictions Therapy. Additionally, she has been teaching and prescribing yoga therapeutically for over 10 years. Her therapeutic interests have focused on integrative treatment for PTSD, Anxiety, Behavioral Addiction. Erin enjoys treating individuals, couples, and groups.

 

KIM HUBECK

LICSW, LADC, EMDR Certified Therapist

Kim specializes in addiction and trauma recovery. Kim has a true passion for EMDR and helping people. She has found that combining therapy with Bikram yoga provides her clients a holistic healing approach. Bikram yoga has helped Kim become stronger, more self-confident, has empowered her to sit in her own body with her feelings and has enabled her to learn how to let things go. Kim enjoys working on an individual basis with adolescents and adults who are ready to explore themselves; regardless of what stage they are in the process. Kim has witnessed EMDR and Bikram yoga change people’s lives by enabling them to discover their true selves. Helping her clients discover a healthier state of being is truly the rewarding part of her work. At the Center for Strong Mind, Strong Body, Kim is honored to bear witness to clients experiencing a sense of warmth in a safe environment where vulnerability is openly embraced.

 

ROSCOE FERRIS

LICSW

Roscoe Ferris is a licensed clinical social worker and licensed alcohol and drug counselor. Since 2003, Roscoe has enjoyed providing a supportive, non-judgmental atmosphere that help his clients develop coping skills to help manage life’s challenges. He believes in a holistic approach to therapy integrating counseling, skill development and yoga. Roscoe works with substance and behavioral addictions as well as a wide range of mental health issues. Using various therapeutic approaches tailored to the individuals needs and treatment goals, Roscoe provides a safe space to grow and adapt in the face of life’s challenges. You will find Roscoe enjoying the practice and prescription of Bikram Yoga Method several times a week at Bikram Yoga Williston. The integration of supportive counseling and yoga becomes a powerful tool in overcoming the destructive symptoms of trauma, addiction, anxiety/stress and depression.

 

MICHAEL REED

LICSW, Level II EMDR

Mike offers a client-centered, strengths based approach to counseling and has been working in human services since 1997. Since 2007, Michael has been using EMDR to assist his clientele with their stuck points in assisting them break free from habits He enjoys working collaboratively with clients using solution- focused techniques and evidence based practices. Some evidence-based interventions that you will find Michael prescribing and practicing include Bikram Yoga and meditation along with other mindfulness-based interventions to help build resources for increased manageability and resolution. He has a strong passion for implementing interventions that are evidence-based in his practice.

ALEXA BOURBONNAIS

Certified Yoga Instructor

Alexa Bourbonnais is a Bikram Yoga Teacher. In her personal practice, Bikram yoga offers not only a full body workout, but also equanimity and self-contentment. As a yoga teacher, Alexa provides an opportunity for people of all fitness levels to improve their own mind-body connection. She believes the Bikram series provides a safe, simple and effective yoga practice for any mind and any body.

SUSAN IDE

LICSW, and an iRest (Integrative Restoration) Level II Teacher-in-Training. In addition, Susan is the owner of H.E.A.L. LLC (Healing Essential Aspects in Life).

As a social worker, Susan greatly enjoys trying to help make an impact on helping children and families in our community, as a member of various task forces at the state and local levels. After working for many years in the field of social work, Susan became interested in learning more about iRest Yoga Nidra Meditation after it seemed to implement with her professional background and future pursuits in helping others to develop a more clear sense of self, while fostering potential healing of the mind and body. . Susan has attended two levels of iRest trainings, at Kripalu, in Massachussetts. Susan was interested in this type of evidence-based research meditative practice, because of iRest’s proven ability to lessen symptoms associated with PTSD, depression, anxiety, insomnia, chronic pain, and chemical dependency. Susan has been teaching iRest Yoga Nidra Meditation classes, workshops, and staff retreats at local yoga studios, businesses, and homes for approximately four years. Susan offers individual and group sessions, which can last from 35-45 minutes. Susan is able to provide yoga mats, blankets, and pillows upon request, and as a courtesy of her teaching. These essentials help to provide her students more comfort and ease, in order to fully engage in this guided meditation.

PAO DESSELLE

Certified Massage Therapist

Pao is from a small mountain village near the borders of Thailand, Burma and China where she lived in the traditional manner of her Shan (or Thai Yai) people. There she, her family, and the other villagers practiced the ancient healing methods of her Shan culture. She received her certification from The Traditional Thai Massage School of Phuket, Thailand in 2009 which consisted of 450 hours of practicum and 150 hours of academics. After moving with her husband and son to Florida in 2010, she began practicing there until moving to Vermont in October of 2017. She now resides in Mallets Bay. You can find her enjoying your family, appreciating the mind-body connection with yoga while always offering a warm generous smile.

 

JENNIFER KIEL

Certified Massage Therapist

Jennifer Kiel has been practicing massage therapy since 2006. In addition to working with clients, she has also directed a 600 hour massage education program, certifying new graduates to practice massage upon completion. Based on the goals of each client, Jennifer utilizes various modalities including Restorative Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Release, Myofascial Release, Lymphatic Facilitation, and Acupressure to help encourage each client to gain an awareness of physical patterns that exist in his or her body. The client may be aware of such patterns because of pain and restricted movement, or may be completely unaware of the soft tissue congestion because no outward symptoms are present. Ultimately, massage will alter fascial patterns for the better, restoring freedom of movement and opening energetic pathways. Jennifer has recently been certified in Cranial/Structural Therapy for the effective treatment of headaches, and will soon begin a year long training in Structural Energetic Therapy. SET is a full body therapy, integrating Cranial/Structural techniques and specialized soft tissue protocols to produce maximum rehabilitation of physical conditions that cause pain. The ultimate goal is to restore balance, strength, and function in the body long term. In her free time, you can find Jennifer hiking, running, swimming, and skiing at her mountain home, Bolton Valley. She is grateful to live and work in such a vibrant and thriving community, and looks forward to helping as many people as possible integrate massage into their lives.

 

Our Mascot

FIG

Fig is the Center and studio’s mascot. She is a French bulldog. She is an angel in training and accompanies Erin to all of the therapy sessions. You will find dear Fig soothing folks with her generous smile. You will find Fig sneaking into the hot studio at any chance she gets. If she sits on your foot or licks your sweat, you are definitely in her inner circle. This year she launched her Instagram career.
